Paul A. Vallo, 48, went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2010 after a short illness. He was born in McCarty, N.M., and had lived in San Bernardino for 28 years.
Paul graduated from Barstow High School in 1980, and then attended S.I.P.I in Albuquerque, N.M. He worked at Hallmark Southwest as a computer engineer for 28 years. Paul was active with the Riverside Archery Club, and the American Legion Post 777 (San Bernardino) Pool League. He loved outdoor sports, shooting, hunting and fishing, and also sang karaoke. He loved life, his native religion and his Christian beliefs. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Preceding Paul in death are his wife, Nini Vallo; mother, Nellie Vallo; grandfather, Albert Vallo; and sisters, Bernadette Cordova and Roberta Garcia.
Surviving Paul are his best friend and companion, Jeannine Francis of San Bernardino; his sister, Judy A. Garcia of Sandy, Utah; aunt, Dorothy Pino of Barstow; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation and Rosary will be on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 505 E. Mt. View, with the visitation at 5 p.m., and the Rosary at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 9 a.m., also at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Road.
